On September 23, 2020, at 15:00, join us at GUM-Red-Line Gallery for an open session of the performance art workshop by Olya Kroytor. The event is a part of the DOCA Festival.
The workshop theme – The Body as Media.
The goal of the workshop is to make people aware of their bodies in the age of media reality and mosaic thinking. Through the experience of “corporeal thinking”, we can learn to project the things that we have learned to appreciate.
Performance art is a unique experience that allows us to learn about ourselves. Our bodies become vessels for expressing everything that cannot be said. The workshop is for those people who want to master performance art or wish to participate/create their very own performance art piece. Pieces created as part of the workshop will be presented on October 25-26, 2020.
Olya Kroytor is a contemporary Russian artist. She works in the fields of performance art, videos, photos, installations, and easel art. Was awarded the Kandinsky Prize-2015 in the Young Artist.
