The Body as Media — Olya Kroitor Workshop

On October 28, at 19:00, the Olya Kroytor Workshop presents the results of its participation in GUM-Red-Line events as part of the DOCA Festival (Days of Contemporary Art). We live in a time of media reality and clip consciousness. The workshop's purpose is to turn a person's attention to his/her own body through the "experience of body intelligence" and to help the participant to learn projecting the perceived into images.

Participants of the workshop: Varvara Grankova, Anastasia Kovaleva, Ivan Kuznetsov, Ekaterina Loginova, Olga Magdeeva, Adriana Raine.

Olya Kroytor is a Russian contemporary artist. Olya works in the field of performance, video, photography, installation, and easel art. Winner of the Kandinsky Prize in the Young Artist. Project of the Year category (2015). Solo exhibitions: Dissociative Identity Disorder (MMoMA, 2011), Split Personality (Regina Gallery, 2011), Extras (Room Gallery, 2014), Disappearance Coordinates (Artwin Gallery, 2016), and others.
