To coincide with the massive retrospective of Russian contemporary art on Line 1 at GUM, the GUM-Red-Line Gallery presented artworks by participants of the Contemporary Art on the Cover of BoscoMagazine project: Vladimir Dubossarsky, Oleg Kulik, AES+F, Andrey Bartenev, Pavel Pepperstein, Gosha Ostretsov, Georgy Totibadze, Konstantin Zvezdochetov, Alexander Vinogradov, Sergey Bratkov, Semyon Faibisovich, Aidan Salakhova, Bella Levikova, Irina Korina.
The exhibition brought together people from different generations, who, just like members of a big family, have different personalities, life philosophies, but at the same time are united by a distinctive and recognizable style. They are always open to new challenges and are ready to try new formats. The starting point of the project was the Contemporary Art on the Cover of BoscoMagazine series. For four years, from Spring 2015, 16 famous Russian artists created for the magazine original works on the main theme of “family”. Each cover of BoscoMagazine was a showcase for a single piece.
