Homo alatus

The reptile thought that it was, in fact, a human. The fish too, desired to be human. The mammals saw themselves as human as well. Once Homo sapiens became human, the remaining Nature decided to take a break. With a prophet acting as its herald, Nature spoke: «Raise your wise hands and create wings for yourself. Take off from Earth, gaze at it from on high, and refrain from bringing any evil onto it. You will go forth and multiply by laying eggs. However, your children will be nourished with the milk of their mothers. You will live on the branches of trees and the highest mountains. Then the Earth will free itself of humanity’s cities, roads, and airports. Only temples, museums, and cemeteries will remain available to you. As a bird of the sky, you will eat what God grants you. You will be friendly and benevolent towards birds.» At this evolutionary twist, humanity would attain perfection and happiness.
