The artist will talk about how he creates an art project: from the first sketch to the exhibition vernissage. Ostretsov will uncover the technical secrets behind a painting and a sculpture and will explain how one goes about creating a contemporary myth based on cultural traditions and modern science.
Gosha Ostretsov is an artist and designer. Participant of the Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art and Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art. Established the VGLAZ Art Community. Cocurator of the Charles Saatchi Russian Collection. Worked with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Luc Besson. His artworks can be seen at the State Tretyakov Gallery, Russian Museum, Moscow Museum of Modern Art.
