Masterclass for Kids by Gosha Ostretsov

GUM-Red-Line presents a collage masterclass for kids by Gosha Ostretsov and Lyudmila Konstantinova – featured artists at the Gallery. Creating collages is not only a creative process. It is an amusing game that will appeal to the youngest children. Collages serve an important educational goal by helping children to learn to create narratives from ready-made images and to see beauty in ordinary things. The participation of Gosha Ostretsov and Lyudmila Konstantinova, famous artists and parents to four wonderful kids, ensures that the event will be beneficial and exciting! By studying the pieces presented at the Conquerors of the Sun, kids will learn the secret techniques of collage and will try to create their own artworks.

Gosha Ostretsov is an artist and designer. Participant of the Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art and Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art. Established the VGLAZ Art Community. Cocurator of the Charles Saatchi Russian Collection. Worked with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Luc Besson. His artworks can be seen at the State Tretyakov Gallery, Russian Museum, Moscow Museum of Modern Art.

Artist Lyudmila Konstantinova has participated in the 1st and 5th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, as well as exhibitions at the Winzavod Contemporary Art Center (Moscow), Moscow Multimedia Art Museum, etc. Her artworks can be seen at the State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), Saatchi Gallery (London), Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art (Saint Petersburg), and private collections.
