Born in the Year of the Rooster, lives and works in Moscow. The artist graduated from the Moscow State University of Printing Arts and the Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in London. A student of the Moscow artist Boris Diodorov, in her work Katya carries on the best traditions of book illustration but goes beyond children's literature. The artist's works are always multi-layered from both a visual and a semantic point of view.
