The group was founded in Moscow in the Year of the Pig. Anarchists in their beliefs, the artists also perform art punk music as part of the IHNABTB band. Journey to the West is one of four great classical Chinese novels of the 16th century. Its main characters are the King of Monkeys Sun Wukong and the half-man-half-pig Zhu Bajie who in the company of other characters travel to the West — to India — in order to obtain Buddhist sūtras. EliKuka characters also go to the West for the "newest sūtras" — to learn more about Western culture and contemporary art.
